Multifunctional pool solution
This client in Israel has a house in the center of the city Tel Aviv, which means that the space in the garden is limited. The client was therefore looking for a multifunctional pool solution that would make the most of the existing space.
Our movable floor with sundeck and integrated stairs offered the solution. When the floor is submerged, the client can make optimal use of the pool; when the floor is at the surface, the client can use it as an extension of the garden.
Where the moveable deck is infinitely adjustable in height, each step remains at a certain height. If the floor is being lowered, a staircase forms and when the floor rises, the stairs level again. In this way, the basin is always comfortable to enter.
An aesthetic look with a special feature
A special feature of this moveable floor is its sundeck (3.00 x 2.00 m). The part of the movable floor that serves as a sundeck can be lowered to a maximum depth of 30 cm. This means that at any desired depth of the floor, the client has a shallow area in the pool where he can relax.
It was also important to our client that the pool should have an ‘open’ appearance. Therefore, we decided to place an uninterrupted underwater window (10.00 x 3.00 x 0.30 m) over 2 sides of the pool, in addition we created an open top view.
